Hi Vitalina, can you tell us how you first got into tattooing?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I got into tattooing about five years ago. Ever since I was a child, I\u2019ve had a passion for drawing, but over time I realized I didn\u2019t want my art to stay on paper \u2014 I wanted it to become something more permanent, something that lives with people. Tattooing allowed me to turn creativity and emotion into something meaningful and personal. That connection between art and human expression is what truly drew me in.<\/p>\n\n\n

And do you remember the first fine line tattoo you ever did? How did it feel compared to your work today?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I absolutely remember my first fine line tattoo \u2014 it was a mix of excitement and nerves. My hands were trembling, and I felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility. Looking back now, it\u2019s incredible to see how far I\u2019ve come. My technique has become much more refined, my confidence has grown, and I\u2019ve developed a steady, focused approach. Every piece has helped shape me into the artist I am today.<\/p>\n\n\n

A successful micro-realism tattoo is very hard to achieve. What makes them successful in your eyes?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are many important aspects that make a micro-realism tattoo truly successful. First and foremost, you need a strong understanding of drawing fundamentals \u2014 it\u2019s not just about copying a picture onto the skin, but creating something that has depth and dimension. Every tiny detail matters; even the smallest line can make a big difference in the final result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The overall composition is also crucial. A great tattoo should hold someone\u2019s attention \u2014 when people look at it, they should want to pause and take in all the fine elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And of course, patience is key. Even though it\u2019s called micro-realism, these tattoos often take longer to complete than larger pieces, simply because there\u2019s no room for error. Precision is everything.<\/p>\n\n\n

Your compositions and designs are amazing. Where do you draw inspiration for them?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Thank you so much! My biggest source of inspiration is definitely my clients. Each one of them brings a unique story, emotion, or idea, and I have the privilege of translating that into something visual and meaningful. That connection fuels my creativity more than anything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also draw a lot of inspiration from outstanding artists within my niche \u2014 seeing their work challenges me, motivates me, and pushes me to keep evolving in my own style.<\/p>\n\n\n

Micro-realism tattoos are almost universally loved. But some clients are reticent due to not knowing how they\u2019ll evolve over time. What can you tell these clients?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s a great question, and I completely understand the concern. The truth is, micro-realism tattoos today are created using techniques that are very different from traditional approaches. The precision of modern tools, the quality of pigments, and the depth at which the ink is placed all help preserve the fine detail and clarity over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These aren\u2019t the same kinds of tattoos people were getting 20 years ago \u2014 the craft has evolved significantly. When done properly, with the right technique and care, micro-realism tattoos can age beautifully and maintain their original appearance for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n

What\u2019s the process of getting a tattoo with you like? Should clients approach you with an idea already?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I always create the design myself, so clients don\u2019t need to come with a finished concept. They just need to describe their idea \u2014 what they envision, what it means to them, or any elements they\u2019d like included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After an initial consultation, I prepare sketches based on our discussion. Then, on the day of the appointment, I refine the design together with the client. Sometimes I even draw freehand directly on the skin to make sure the design flows perfectly with their body. It\u2019s a collaborative process, and I always aim to make each piece truly personal.<\/p>\n\n\n

Is there a particular tattoo you\u2019ve done that still stands out to you today\u2014emotionally or technically?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Absolutely, I have a few personal favorites. They\u2019re usually the ones where the concept was fully mine \u2014 when clients trusted me completely and gave me the freedom to bring my full vision to life. Those pieces always stay with me, both emotionally and artistically.<\/p>\n\n\n

How do you see your style evolving over the next few years? Are there any new techniques or styles you\u2019re interested in exploring?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I want to keep evolving by blending the styles I already specialize in \u2014 fine line, ornamental, and micro-realism \u2014 to create something truly unique within my niche. I\u2019m also drawn to exploring new textures and incorporating more abstract elements. My goal is to push the boundaries of detail and emotion in every piece, while developing a style that feels both personal and instantly recognizable.<\/p>\n\n\n

What is something you\u2019d like to achieve in your career?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

My goal is to reach an international level and become one of the top tattoo artists in my style. I\u2019d love to open my own studio and build a global team of inspiring artists. I also dream of doing guest spots in the world\u2019s most creative cities \u2014 places that challenge and fuel artistic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n

Lastly, what advice would you give to aspiring tattoo artists who want to pursue fineline or ornamental tattooing?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Be patient and consistent. Fine line work requires incredible precision, and that comes with practice. Learn to draw well first \u2014 understanding light, depth, and flow is everything. And always keep learning from others, but don\u2019t lose your own voice in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n
